Exe Estuary - probable purple heron slowly north upriver @ 1610. Picked up cicling very high, well north of my vantage point in Belle Vue Rd, it slowly lost height until it disappeared from view behind a large tree. Impossible for me to get plumage details but it looked pretty good structurally and always very dark. Perhaps now on Exminster Marshes?
Orcombe Point - 0850 - 11+ chiffchaff, 16+ willow warbler, 7+ blackcap, 1 wheatear, 4+ meadow pipit, 3+ swallow, 1 eider, 6+ razorbill, 7+ great crested grebe, 3+ common scoter.
