A Stoat was watched standing upright peering over the top of the tussocks then jumping over trying to surprise feeding Snipe, but was unsuccessful. The Jack Snipe came out to feed in the open for short periods. Single Chiffchaff and Water Rail were also present in the valley together with a few Teal and 6 Gadwall.
Off Broadsands headland over 120 Razorbills scattered across the south end of the bay, plus 3 Black-necked and one Red-necked Grebe..
