Thurlestone Bay

Both marshes 100% frozen, still couldn't get the car out of the Close.

Suberb morning in the Bay although our Lapwing total only2 & Skylark 12.

3 Black T Diver back, the Red T Diver still present. 6 f Red B Merganser on the sea ( a site record for me ) 1 Great C Grebe and1 Guillemot on the sea .23 Teal 3 Wigeon & 3 Common Scoter east

Waders -8 Turnstone, 2 Grey Plover, 22 Golden Plover, 1` Dunlin

Thurlestone Marsh - this am- 1 m Blackcap, 53 Snipe, 1 Black T Godwit , 2 Lapwing 1 Water Rail ( watched catching an eel!) . A Jack Snipe flew up the valley at 13.30.
