Charleton Marsh / Bay.
Unfortunatly no sign of Johns Waxwing at the bottom of Marsh Lane, just 4 Chiffchaffs in the sewage works. Very little on the marsh except a calling Water Rail. Birds out in the bay ( high tide ) included Whimbrel, 100 Curlew, 30 Teal and 30 Red-breasted Merganser. 8 Golden Plover and 6 Lapwings flew over
