Wrafton - Black-winged Stilts

07:50 - 08:50

The 2 Black-winged Stilts were still on the pond in the field south of the Tarka Trail and Wrafton Pond. One of the birds had a more brown coloured back than t`other so I believe this one to be a female.
Also present was the breeding plumage, Black-tailed Godwit.
At 08:15 a really bright Yellow Wagtail(Channel type) appeared and the Godwit flew off over old Wrafton Station.
A pair of Pochards were still on Wrafton Pond and in spite of the terrible weather,  there were plenty of Swallows feeding.
The 2 Buzzards nesting in the conifer didn`t look too happy with the wind and rain.
The Stilts were still present when I left at 08:50.
