Exminster marshes

Mid-morning the spoonbill was still present often feeding within the flock of 82 roosting shelducks. There were other shelducks scattered over the marshes bringing the total to over 90 birds. The only other obvious sign of spring were two wheatears near the lagoon. On the lagoon were 6 gadwall, 3 tufted ducks and a pochard.

This afternoon there were a few sand martins flying west over the village.
