The Great Grey Shrike was showing well in the morning at 8.30 a.m.- first time i have caught up with it since the new year (illness not having helped) but Ian Pearson saw it on the 8th and Dave Helliar the day before a little away from the airfield. It does seem to be roaming further now. 28 golden plover and female stonechat. A noticeable number of blackbirds with a small flock of around 15 birds staying close together feeding in hawthorn.
