A short walk around the lake today produced the usual selection of waterbirds: about a dozen Pochard, a pair of Tufted Duck, two Great Crested Grebe and a couple of Kingfishers, as well as a wholly unexpected Shelduck. I'm tempted to assume it was an escape?
