On time 2+ hours after high tide this morning the first group of 7 Purple Sandpipers flew off the groyne to feed on the rocks alongside the foreshore. Overall total of 11 - (a passing pedestrian said that he had seen 14 on an earlier date) Also 14 Turnstones.
