On the walk home this afternoon looked in at matford marsh 50+ wigeon 30+ teal 5 shoveler 15 lapwing 18 black tailed godwit.
From the viewing points along the cannal just down from the swing bridge at countess wear on the pools were 6 snipe and 1 snipe overhead, 1 kingfisher, 16+ teal,along the cannal path 2 chiffchaffs, 11 long tailed tits, 2 goldcrests, 5 redwing, 20+ Siskin.
