Gutted! missed the Wryneck by 15 mins (on the
school run), walked onto the headland to find a smiling Tim! After a prolonged
sulk .... 11 Chaffinch, 15 Goldfinch, 3 House Sparrow, 1 Yellowhammer, 3
Bullfinch, 2 Siskin, 8 Song Thrush, 17 Skylark, 7 Starling, 5 alba Wagtail and
a GS Woodpecker. Around the meadow 3 Blackcap, 2 Goldcrest and bird of the
morning for me a single Chiffchaff (proving to be quite a rarity this autumn).
