Major case of flogging a dead horse today. Tried various places between Southdown Farm and Overbecks. Only saw 18 Swallows, Blackcap, 11 Chiffchaffs and 11 Goldcrest. Siskins refused to dissapear, 2 flocks totalling 60 birds. If i'd been birding on an Icelandic headland it would have been a half decent day.
