A note from Lee Collins, on the bird that got a lot of us running around a bit today!
Some more
news on todays Short-toed Eagle. Initially discovered over Dawlish Warren at
about 11.55, then it slowly drifted N towards Exmouth, where it appeared to
linger, dwarfing the Crows that were mobbing it. Crippling views gained by Lee
Collins & Dave Jewell, but although news put out, thoughts were it wasn’t
seen by others, so pleasing to see AJ also fortunate to see this stunning
bird.
Of interest
this bird also appeared on Birdguides, being picked up in Dorset at Lyme Regis
at 15.15
