A magnificent sight today at around midday to 1pm. Well over 1000 birds were feeding on the Exmouth eel grass beds as the tide receeded, really close in to the shoreline off the Imperial Road carpark. Circa 600 Brent Geese with a good count of 60 juveniles (first time I've seen the juveniles this year); 70 Pintail and large numbers of Wigeon and Mallard.
There are a couple more days with good tides for lunchtime to early afternoon viewing this week if the birds will oblige again!
