Fairly strong ESE winds but at last some movement - notable birds amongst the hundreds of commoner finches and Meadow Pipits 07.30-09.30am: 3 Redwing (first of the autumn for me), 3 Reed Buntings, 42 Skylark, 8 Siskin, 1 Lesser Redpoll. Around the headland 5 Wheatear, 3 Blackcap, 10 Goldcrest and just 2 Chiffchaff. 1 Bonxie flew in close to the quarry while I was checking out the bushes.
