Bowling Green Marsh

Not a lot on the main marsh in the morning due to an early high tide and also because the R.S.P.B. were doing maintenance by cutting back and making bombfires but watching from the viewing platform afforded good views of an Osprey both on the gantry and on the small post in the river. Also seen were numerous redshank,2 greenshank and a common sandpiper. Also seen viewing onto the reserve was a great-spotted woodpecker and several willow warblers.
