3 Sparrowhawks, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Wryneck ( East Soar, follow hedge up valley from small pump house and bird in corner of field ), 85 Swallows, 20 House Martins, 2 Tree Pipits, White Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtails, 3 Whinchats, 20 Wheatears, 23 Blackcaps, Whitethroat, 57 Chiffchaffs, 8 Goldcrests, Firecrest ( East Soar Willows ), 33 Siskins.
Not much evidence of vis. mig. Bolberry early morning. Plenty of Meadow Pipits and Skylarks thanks to the excellent habitat of Southdown Farm rather than any movement.
