Black Hole Marsh

A juvenile Semipalmated Sandpiper was a major prize today, in company with a Curlew Sandpiper and 15+ Dunlin.

Black Hole Marsh was completely cleared out by an overflying microlight this evening, and the small waders flew off downriver. Hopefully that's not the last of it though...

In the absence of anything better, here are a few ropey shots of the Semi-p, but there will probably be some much better photos presently.
