Berry Head

0630 - 0915hrs. With light Southerly winds and cloud cover it was looking good for migrants but very little around the headland, highlight was a mixed flock of 30+ Chiffchaff, 2 Goldcrest and Long-tailed Tit in the tree line from the car park towards the Northern Fort. Other totals included: 35 Swallows, 31 House Martins, 3 Siskin, 1 Bullfinch, 5 Cirl Bunting, 1 Blackcap, 1 Wheater, 30+ mixed Goldfinch & Linnets, 7 Alba Wagtails, party of 18 Magpies and a further 16 Chiffchaff and 3 Goldcrest. Of other interest: Harbour Porpoise & Hummingbird Hawk Moth.
