Some movement of birds this morning : 8 Siskin > E, 1 Lesser Redpoll, 40+ Linnets, 12 Goldfinches, 14 Alba Wagtails a few Meadow Pipits, Swallows/Martins and 3 House Sparrows. on the head 5 Wheatear, 1 Coal Tit '(britannicus' - kept trying to head off >E but returned every time) quite a grey bird but showed olive tones to edges of wing feathers and tail and a hint of olive streaks in the mantle and buffy underside. Also 6 Stonechat, fewer Chiffchaffs than Saturday... I then got a call from Josh, just 1mile away as the warbler flies he had found a Hippolais warbler sp at Sharkham, I was on my way...
