Another good morning for waders on the beach 09.00-11.00
58 Ringed plover,16 Dunlin, 10 Sanderling, 2 Turnstone, 2 Whimbrel & 4jv Knot- latter is probably a site record usually only singles on a very few days a year.
Thurlestone marsh- 2 Green Sandpiper, 3 Water Rail, 8 Teal
South H Marsh- 5 Wheatear, 40 House martin, 10 Sand martin
The ringing team managed to get a couple of hours in before the rain took over, managed to ring - 27 Sedge, 6 Reed, 20 Willow (inc 1 Grey bird could be one of the sub species ) 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Blackcap, 1 Garden
