Exminster Marshes

Little excitement until an immature Aquatic Warbler appeared at 9.15. South of the canal side car park to the west of the cycle track almost opposite the fourth speed bump. The bird sat on top of a few reed stems before vanishing into the undergrowth.
Whilst waiting for it to reappear one wood sandpiper flew over and landed on the edge of the lagoon. A single snipe flew towards the estuary. On the lagoon the number of coots had risen to 60.
