Otter Estuary and Budleigh Seafront
Highlights this morning were 2 Mediterannean Gulls (1 ad summer and a 1st summer) off the seafront along with 5 Great-crested Grebes heading west and a very distant skua, probably Arctic Skua.
This evening, the 2nd Summer Glaucous Gull re-appeared on the west side of Budleigh Beach by the hauled out fishing boats feeding on scraps from the local fisherman. Present from around 7pm until 8pm at least. Interesting to see how this bird's plumage has changed since it first appeared in April.
