A wander around Isley, the ashbeds and jetty roost at 08:00 produced:-
19 Whimbrel; 5 Ringed Plover; 32 Dunlin; 17 Bar-tailed Godwits; 2 Sandwich Terns; 2 Common sandpipers; 2 Wheater; 13 Skylarks; plus plenty of Reed Warblers; Common Whitethroat; Oystercatcher and 2 Great black-backed Gulls.
Just 2 Teal and 2 Mallard on the overflow(?) pond.
The Dunlin and nearly all the Godwits were resplendent in summer plumage.
