On a sunny, calm morning substantial drumming activity from 2 Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers over a 30+ minute period in the woods above the hide. Dick Andrews & I were between boxes 41 & 45 on the upper paths. Birds very mobile and seen flying both sides of our path. Pair seen on trees, but believed third (another male) bird present due to the drumming activity.
Minimum 6 Siskins feeding at hide.
