Exminster Marshes & Turf

A single Slavonian grebe with 3 red-breasted mergansers south of Turf this morning at high tide. A good count of 123 shelduck on Powderham sands and the remnants of the brent geese flock, 176, in the fields near Turf. Earlier there were 3 chiffchaffs on the canal bank and the "new" un-rung spoonbill near the lane.
