Thurlestone Bay

Morning wet & windy with poor vis.- In 2.5 hrs 1 Red t Diver -east, 1 Kittiwake & 5 Gannet -east.

In the Bay a female Goosander.

South Huish Marsh- 100+ Wigeon, 40 Teal, 12 Gadwall, 15 Snipe, 50+ Redwing, 30 Fieldfare.
Rec'd a call at 14.45 to say a Bittern on the northern end of the marsh. Spent 2 hrs but did not show. 10 Brent Goose flew west & 1 Curlew over. The interesting birdwas a biscuit brown coloured Starling , however the bill was dark & it had a dark breast. Took some poor photo's and came to the conclusion it was a leucistic Starling . .
