Mansands

A quick circuit of the marsh at lunchtime produced the expected 20 Teal and 6 Gadwall but more unusually here , a Green Sandpiper. A Water Rail was feeding out on the open mud and single Redshank and Dunlin were present. (waders generally are scarce here except Snipe).
2 Razorbill and a Great Crested Grebe offshore.
At home in Brixham , male and female Blackcap in my hedge.
