Exmouth & Woodbury Common

The female Long-tailed Duck was close in to Shelly Beach at 1220hrs over high tide. Also 5 Goldeneye there and at last, my first Rock Pipit of the year!

A ringtail Hen Harrier came in over Woodbury Common just south of Castle Plantation at 1640hrs (presumably to roost) from the direction of the Exe (could it have been the Exminster Marshes bird?) and glided down low towards Uphams Plantation. No sign of any Dartford Warblers though..........
