In addition to the birds posted by John Waldon this morning, I had the following of interest this afternoon:
female Marsh Harrier - flew north from Turf along the canal towards Topsham and the M5, about 1440hrs.
female Merlin - sat on a metal gate in fields opposite the Lions Rest Estate from 1640 until 1650hrs, when it flew towards the canal.
(The 8 White-fronted Geese were still present near the lagoon).
