On a fishing boat out in the channel yesterday. Mostly gulls attending the boat, the majority were Great Black-backed (c120) also 4 Lesser Black-Backed and 45 Kittiwakes. 6 Great Skuas were attacking the above - confirming wintering out in the channel off Devon.

English Channel 25nm SSE of Start Point -17/01/11
On a fishing boat out in the channel yesterday. Mostly gulls attending the boat, the majority were Great Black-backed (c120) also 4 Lesser Black-Backed and 45 Kittiwakes. 6 Great Skuas were attacking the above - confirming wintering out in the channel off Devon.
