Broadsands

A fantastic still morning in the bay. Really pleased to locate a Red-necked Grebe just off Broadsands after first light. It then moved around to Elberry Cove where it gave great views in company with a Black-necked Grebe. It was disturbed by water skiers at 0930hrs but then relocated a bit further out in the middle of the bay, still present at 0945hrs.
Also 4 Black-necked Grebes, 60+Great-crested Grebe and 2 male Red-brested Merganser as well as a gull feeding frenzy out in the middle of the bay.

Long-tailed Duck and Common Scoter still visible of Preston/Paignton Seafront
