Colyford

Still several Woodlarks (at least 5) in the field opposite Colyton WTW, along Cownhayne Lane. There is a public footpath across the field, and at one stage 3 birds were together right by the entrance stile. There are also c.2,000 Skylarks present, but the Woodlarks keep mostly to themselves. If you do try for these birds please do not hassle them in the freezing conditions - with patience they will come quite close.
