The 'highlights' were female Goldeneye from Arch Brook and Great Northen Diver from the Quay. Otherwise just the usual really, desptie the cold. Wildfowl totals across the whole stretch were 40 Mute Swan, 32 Shelduck, 24 Teal (luxton), 23+ Red-breated Merganser, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Great-crested Grebe and just 1 Mallard (surprisingly no Wigeon).
At high tide Passage House roost held 15 Oystercatcher, 37 Curlew, 36 Redshank, 7 Lapwing, 13 Dunlin and singles of Greenshank, Bar-tailed Godwit and Black-tailed Godwit, while at Flow Point there was 293 Oystercatcher, 61 Curlew, 22 Redshank, 23 Dunlin & 6 Ringed Plover.
