Prawle

A thoroughly wet and miserable day - with only a few minor highlights to show for the efforts. 2 hour seawatch produced single Great Northern and Black-throated Divers, along with 130 Auks, (mainly Razorbills). WeBs count totals too embarrasing to mention, save to say that Purple Sandpipers, present in worryingly low numbers last winter, have failed to show up at all so far this autumn. Other birds of note included Black Redstart, Brambling, Blackcap and 2 Goldcrests.
