Start Point

Strong south-southwest wind ( touching gale force in night ?), decreasing slowly during morning. Almost constant rain, frequently heavy.

Seawatch 08:00-13:00, all south.
Diver sp ( prob Black-throated ), Balearic Shearwater, Grey Plover, Sandwich Tern, 5 Great Skua, 4 Arctic Skua. A flock of 6 small waders passing looked like Purple Sandpipers, indeed a Purple Sandpiper took pity on me and kept me company on the rocks for half an hour.
Wheatear and 2 Chiffchaffs on the way down to the light.
After reading what was at Berry Head, if Prawle has also had shedloads of Skuas today i'm off to Specsavers !
