Prawle remains the only place in Devon without at least a Yellow-browed Warbler! It also appears now not to have a House Finch either. Last reported on Saturday 9th October, it was looked for several times this week in all it's favoured haunts, but not found. Given it's facial skin problem, it's possible it may have succumbed, but I prefer to believe, given it's status as a truly wild bird, it decided that early October would be a good time to move off to it's winter quarters!
