Mudbank Lane, Exmouth

The Red-breasted Goose of unknown origin (presumed escape) was on the far mudbank early afternoon. Also present was a Pale-bellied Brent Goose. A site count of 133 Common Teal was good. There were also 10 Red-breasted Mergansers together on the estuary nearby.

Earlier I had a Tawny Owl sat on a house roof, calling, at Foxholes Hill, Orcombe Point at 0700hrs.
