

Two more rubbish photos - the top (taken last week) is of the presumed hybrid
teal x wigeon drake still present yesterday with the large wigeon flock off Mudbank (at least two probably four pale-bellied brents and the long-tailed duck also present) and the bottom is of a goldcrest that spent several minutes this morning feeding very openly in stubble several metres from the hedgerow on Orcombe point - behaviour I can't recall seeing before.
Also on Orcombe Point this morning: curlew 73, skylark c50/60+, starling c2/300+, redwing c100+, goldcrest 4, chiffchaff 1, brambling 1, fieldfare 2 and several chaffinch. One diver sp west was probably black-throated. Birding difficult in blustery SE wind
