A bright sunny morning with little wind= perfect for the ponds and Warblers. No sign of the tristis or the strange chiffchaff I posted a couple of days ago but 4 collybita 'normal' Chiffchaffs in the same corner.
I tried further down toward the YMCA another sunny sheltered spot with a bit of 'pishing' and almost immediately found a warbler with a huge supercilium skulking in the undergrowth! It gave itself up pretty quickly as a bright Yellow-browed Warbler see below....
Other Birds around ponds: 4 Water Rail, 4 Little Grebes, 2 Little Egrets, 3 Teal, 2 Goldcrest and another Chiffchaff.
