Geese Quarries-Charleton Marsh, 12:30-15:00, low tide.
2 Great Crested Grebe, Peregrine, Water Rail, Ringed Plover, 10 Dunlin, 2 Knot, 2 Black-tailed Godwit, Grey Wagtail and Wheatear. Swallows going east at c 100 per hour. Nice to see a handful of scattered Goldcrests after last autumns no show. One 'helice' Clouded Yellow seen at Charleton Marsh.
