Hardly out of the car at Sprydon Plantation, pairs of
Siskin and
Crossbill were present with a
Green Woodpecker calling and
Gt Spotted Woodpecker drumming.
Marsh Tit in numbers seen during a walk around the deciduous woodland and a further flock of
8 Siskin seen feeding at Goulds Brake..a nice change from the coasts and estuaries and not a birder in sight!
