Hope's Nose

Seawatch 13:50 to 15:50 in strong ESE wind. Very little passage south, just 2 kittiwakes and 10 auks. A 1st winter little gull tried to fly south round the point but turned back north. On the water 1 great crested grebe, 27+ common scoter (just beyond Flat Rock and hard to count in the swell). 1 purple sandpiper on the rocks.
