Berry Head

Result! Lapland Bunting grounded on the headland this morning in thick mist before flying North and not relocated. Also 2 Reed Bunting and 7 Wheatear around the point. Other grounded migrants included 4 Blackcap and 9 Goldcrest, overhead 9 alba Wagtail, 2 Skylarks, 2 Siskin and just 4 Goldfinch. Mid morning Chris Smallbones had a Short-eared Owl in off the sea mobbed by crows last seen dropping into the quarry. (Pictured Lapland Bunting & Reed Bunting)
