Berry Head

Brisk NW wind - not great for any movement at Berry Head but more noteable birds included:

Left: Male Yellowhammer  and Right: part of flock of 33 House Sparrows on headland this morning

4+ Yellowhammer, 1 Lesser Redpoll, 19 Siskin, an incredible flock of 33 House Sparrows on end of headland, 1 Wheatear, 4 Stonechat (no sign of the Dartford Warbler today), 6 Goldcrest, 3 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap. 280+ Guillemots back on cliffs and a single Clouded Yellow Butterfly. This afternoon a trawler came in from Lyme Bay trailing 1,000+ Gulls + Gannets amongst them were 6 Bonxies and 2 Arctic Skuas. 3 Harbour Porpoises off the Headland at about 2.30pm.
