Prawle Area

In calm and fine conditions passerine migrants on the move, best of which were 3 Ring Ouzels in Pig's Nose Valley this morning. A large build up of hirundines , several thousand, mainly Swallows over the fields around the village first thing, small parties of Skylark and Meadow Pipits going over.

Other totals: Yellow Wagtail 5, White Wagtail 2, Blackcap 34, Whitethroat 9, Chiff-Chaff 80, Willow Warbler 3 Garden Warbler, Tree Pipit, Wheatear 5, Spotted Flycatcher 4, Whinchat 3.
