Bowling green marsh

Bowling Green marsh this weekend

Saturday   15:15 till 18:45 

Started at the viewing platform the juv Osprey showed well catching a fish returning to the 'Derrick' by the viewing platform at 16:05

Headed up to the hide shortly after for the high tide roost, much better totals with the higher tide with the following totals,
520+ Black tailed godwits  highest count so far this autumn

1 Common sandpiper

Sunday 15:15 till 18:15

Just a short visit today much the same as yesterday with fantastic views of the juv Osprey from the viewing platform between 16:30 and 17:00 again being successful  catching a large fish and bringing it back to the 'Derrick' to the left of the viewing platform.
