Wembury

A good walk this morning curtailed prematurely by the need to go to work: 40 Willow Warbler, 20 Chiffchaff, 4 Swallow, Slav Grebe, 5 Sandwich Tern and the first Whitethroat of the year. It looked like birds were dropping in briefly an moving on quickly on the ground probably due to the bank of fog offshore and the NW breeze. Strangely no Wheatear?
