Sharkham Point

At 1035 hrs I was heading back thinking this hasnt been that great due to very few migrants when circling over the grassland next to the car park were 2 Red Kites. Patch tick! They hung around being mobbed by Herring gulls before drifting over St Marys Bay onto the Southern Fort at Berry Head. Also present this morning were 13 Swallows, 4 House Martin, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Willow Warbler, plenty of Chiffchaff, 9 Blackcap and an Adder.
