Braunton Marsh

Had a quick look around the reserve at Velator when a distant flying Heron attracted my attention. I watched it circle around for several minutes and even had it right overhead at one point. Clearly a Purple Heron, which eventually drifted out over Braunton Marsh and was lost to view. It may have landed. Last seen at aboout 11.30.
